HOW OLD ARE YOU?  
I was born in May 2023!

WHAT BREED ARE YOU?
I’m a Frenchton! (A perfect mix of French Bulldog and Boston Terrier.)

HOW MUCH DO YOU WEIGH?
I am about 19 pounds.

WHAT DO YOU LOOK LIKE?
My beautiful coat is a shiny black with a subtle caramel brindle. And my most adorable feature (if I do say so myself) is a cute little white patch on my forehead. I’m just darling!

WHAT DO YOU LIKE TO EAT?
I love my kibble, though haven’t tried many other things yet… something about puppies developing good eating habits or some nonsense like that.

WHAT KIND OF PERSONALITY DO YOU HAVE?
Did you catch the part up above where I said I was just born in May 2023? So yeah, I am an energetic playful puppy still. But, oh boy do I love getting all the cuddles from the humans when it is quiet time!

DESCRIBE YOUR PERFECT DAY
Is it crazy that I have so many perfect days all the time right now? Perfect days involve food, playtime with my doggy friends, cozy naps, and cuddles from the humans. There’s nothing better than a day like that!

WHAT IS YOUR FAVORITE TOY?
I can have fun with just about anything or anyone, but I particularly love tug toys and Benebones! Oh my goodness, there is so much fun to be had with those!

DO YOU KNOW ANY TRICKS?
Tricks… you mean when someone throws some treats into my crate and “tricks” me into going inside for a nap when I was enjoying frolicking around in the yard for hours? No? Hmm. Ok, so I do know how to “sit” on command. But I am a work in progress because I am still young. I am trainable, so I will learn more as time goes on.

WHAT SCARES YOU?
I am a pretty brave boy and I haven’t come across anything scary yet.

HAVE YOU BEEN AROUND CHILDREN?
There aren’t any kids living in my foster home. I am a puppy with puppy energy, so kids should be aware of how to handle my excited behaviors.

DO YOU LIKE CATS?
I haven’t met any cats up close. I’ve seen cats from time to time while I’m exploring the neighborhood on walks. I wasn’t all that interested in them from a distance.

HOW DO YOU FEEL ABOUT OTHER DOGS?
Dogs are the BEST! I love playing with my doggy friends every chance I get. If I’m not napping or cuddling a human, I am interacting playfully with another dog.

IF YOU COULD BE ANYWHERE IN THE WORLD, WHERE WOULD IT BE?
If the sun is shining, I want to be in it one way or another. Either soaking it up while actively playing outside in the warm rays or passively taking a nap in the light peeking through the windows or on the patio.

HOW IS YOUR HEALTH?
I am the picture of good health!

WHO DO YOU LIVE WITH IN YOUR FOSTER HOME AND WHO IS YOUR CLOSEST COMPANION?
In addition to several other foster pups in the home, I live with my foster mom, foster grandma, and a couple other adult humans that play and cuddle with me daily. I love all people, but my foster mom is my favorite. She takes such great care of me and lets me hang out with her while she is working in her office during the day.

WHERE DO YOU HANG OUT WHEN YOU ARE HOME ALONE?
I am a good boy napping in my crate to stay safe when my foster mom goes out.

WHERE DO YOU SLEEP?
I am cozy and comfortable in my crate overnight and for naps during the day.

DO YOU LIKE WALKING ON A LEASH?
I’m just starting to go on walks and I am SUCH a good boy! I love being out and about exploring the neighborhood.

DO YOU HAVE ANY “NOT SO GREAT” HABITS THAT WE SHOULD KNOW ABOUT?
I am a puppy so I am still learning right and wrong. I try my best when asked to do, or not do, things, but I think patience and consistency are important when dealing with a puppy. Thank you for helping me learn!

ARE YOU HOUSE TRAINED (DO YOU GO POTTY OUTSIDE)?
I am in the process of crate training to learn how to potty outside consistently. I am doing well so far and will certainly improve with time and patience.

DO YOU LIKE WATER?
I don’t exactly “like” water if you mean do I want to go in the bath or find a body of water to immerse myself in. I will tolerate taking a bath, but don’t mistake my compliance for pleasure in the experience! I’m just a good boy and I will do what you ask of me.

WHAT DO YOU LOVE ABOUT YOUR FOSTER FAMILY?
The best part about my foster family is that there are lots of dogs here to play with! I always have at least one playmate, so I am never lonely. And the humans here are very skilled at giving belly rubs, which I always appreciate!

WHAT WAS YOUR LIFE LIKE BEFORE BEING BROUGHT INTO NORCAL BULLY BREED RESCUE?
I was in a shelter with my dad and two littermates, and they contacted this amazing rescue. NorCal Bully Breed Rescue placed us quickly into a foster home, where we have learned what it means to have a safe space with love and happiness. I know the future holds amazing things for me and I am excited for all the new experiences. Will you be the one that shares those experiences with me?
