Dalkong Jindo & Retriever Mix Long Island City, NY

Meet Dalkong! He is a 2 year old Jindo/retriever mix that weighs 24lbs. He’s settling in well to his foster apartment, where he loves to follow his humans around, play with his favorite donut toy, and get as many chin scratches and belly rubs as possible. He’s working on crate and potty training, and is good on a leash— but is very specific about walking only on the left side of his humans. He also takes his job as chief investigator very seriously, and must inspect every bag and box that’s brought into the house. Dalkong likes to unwind by listening to the “Calming Dog Music” playlist, and shows his gratitude by bringing “gifts” to his fosters, like their slipper or a toy. Our adoption radius is now within 30 miles of the following locations: NYC, Philadelphia, Lehigh Valley, DC, Baltimore, MD, and Western & Eastern CT. You must be able to pick up the dog at our office in Astoria, Queens (no exceptions). You must wear a mask and practice safe social distancing when traveling and picking up the dog.
