Cyrus - APPS CLOSED Pit Bull Terrier Mix Warrenville, IL

Cyrus is a playful puppy who everyone falls in love with at first sight! He came to us a few days after being born in a shelter and has been in foster care ever since. He is about 4 months old now and is a puppy at heart, but he definitely has an old soul. One minute he’s bouncing like a bunny and the next he’s cuddled up for a nap.

Cyrus is great with other dogs. There are two resident dogs in his foster home, and he’s built a bond with each specific to their personalities. One is the play partner, and the other is the cuddler. He follows their cues and is already a perfect gentleman.

Cyrus also loves kids!! He would do well with kids of any age. He’s been socialized in a foster family with a 10 yr old girl, her friends, and many of their younger siblings. He even served as the unofficial softball team mascot and went to every game to cheer the girls on. The players would take turns petting him and walking him in between innings and the parents would all love on him too! Needless to say, he loved all the attention!

He is crate-trained, potty-trained, and walks great on a leash. He is a very fast learner and, as a social butterfly, he loves being the life of a party. When he’s not hamming it up though, he’s the perfect snuggly companion for his foster mom, who’s working from home and appreciates a loveable office mate. He has a very balanced demeanor where he’ll play for an hour and chill for the rest of the day. He loves car rides and especially loves the ones that end in a puppaccino! Brace yourself though, if you meet him, you will fall in love, and if he hugs you, it’s all over!
