Meet Crewz
***ADOPT ME ***
Meet Crewz! He’s a 4 yr old male Cocker Spaniel. He’s in search of a new home as his last one didn’t suit his needs correctly. Crewz is a completely lovable character, BUT does come with some baggage. He can be fearful & untrusting of new situations & people. He will need an EXPERIENCED owner/handler that can understand how to desensitize him towards what intimidates him. He needs a confident handler who gives him lots of positive reinforcement for his good behavior, negative correction is not going to help him grow & acclimate.
Crewz loves, loves, loves his toys. There is nothing better to him in life than a big pile of dog toys. He even knows when u toss a new one in because it’s his immediate favorite…of course until he gets another new one. He’s basically a toy hoarder. Crewz also loves his food & treats. He has the tendency to be slightly chubby if you don’t strictly monitor this. Boy just loves to have a good time!
We are in search of a home for Crewz that includes -
** No children - no exceptions. Please do not apply if u have children in your home.
** NO OTHER DOGS, Crewz does not socialize well. NO EXCEPTIONS!
** A quiet home with low traffic, Crewz may be disturbed with a high activity home
** Crewz needs an fear experienced owner or someone who understands the Cocker Spaniel breed well. His fear of things often comes out with aggression. He will need work with his trust of his new person. This process will take time & dedication. Crewz has a history of abuse, so it takes him awhile to trust & be comfortable, he is also a resource guarder, so will someone experienced with desensitizing him to this behavior.
**No first time dog owners, seniors (he’s very active) or other dogs in the home. No exceptions! We want to set him up for success!
** Crewz needs exercise, although kinda chubby he’s super active & loves walks, playing ball, etc

Once we receive a completed application that is APPROVED, we will do a vet check. If everything goes well then we set up meet & greets?. Just because you apply for a foster dog doesn’t mean you will be called in regards to your application. We only call people who match what we are looking for the foster dog. PLEASE do not call our facility in regards to the fosters. Fill out an application in order to be considered, thanks!
Crewz is current on his vaccines including, Rabies, DHPP, Lepto, Bordetella & CIV. He is also neutered, microchipped, fecal & heartworm tested.
