Cosmo Black Labrador Retriever Mix Pacific, MO

Cosmo is a 3 year old 65 lb Black Lab/pit mix. He came to us from another shelter where he had originally been picked up as a stray. Because of his personality and intelligence, he was accepted into the Puppies for Parole program. While in the program, he did nothing but show what an extremely intelligent dog he is. His handler taught him to open doors, pick things up and bring them to him; so many amazing tasks and commands . His handler trains dogs to be service dogs, so recognized Cosmo’s potential and worked with him.
Cosmo came to us fully vetted, including heartworm treatment, so we are able to offer him for the discounted cost of $200. He will come with a letter and list of commands from his handler. His favorite game is Find It. Cosmo is an exceptional dog! He appears to be dog friendly. We do not know how he is with cats or kids, so any kids should be older, 10+, and his new family should be willing to carry on with his training.
Applicants must have a securely fenced yard at least 4 feet high that encloses a door to the home. Applicants will be screened, including a home visit.
