Meet Corduroy
What is your name? My Name is Corduroy!
How old are you? I'm about ten months old.
What do you look like? I am fawn and white with big lips and silly ears and I weigh ~ 40lbs.
What do you like to eat? I love having my kibble for breakfast and dinner. My foster mom says, a healthy balanced diet and good supplements are important.
What kind of personality do you have? When I first meet you, I will be insanely happy. I LOVE people but once I get my energy out, I settle down. Nothing makes me happier than meeting new humans.
Describe your perfect day: I am very much a boy of routine. I am a healthy mix of energy and lazy. I enjoy chasing my ball or going for a walk to expel some of my puppy energy. I also enjoy going for car rides and new places. In the evenings, like clockwork, I enjoy couch time and to cuddle with my humans!
What is your favorite toy? I love just about everything, stuffies, antlers but my absolute favorite is my large Chuckit ball.
Do you know any tricks? I know sit, wait, watch, paw and leave it. I am working with my foster family to learn more but sometimes I get so excited by life that it can be hard to listen.
Do you like cats? I have met cats before, but nothing consistent, so I am not sure how I feel about them.
Do you have any doggie best friends? I currently live with 4 foster siblings, big and small! I really enjoy the company of other dogs but can be a bit pushy sometimes, so I would do best in a home with a foster sibling that could show me the ropes and is more my speed.
If you could be anywhere in the world, where would it be? In a backyard playing or out at the barn visiting the horses.
How is your health? I am as healthy as a horse!
Who do you live with in your foster home and who is your closest companion? I live with a man and a woman, 4 other dogs, 2 horses, 11 chickens and 1 barn cat. I tend to spread the love, depending on how I am feeling.
Where do you hang out when you are home alone? I hang out in my crate when I’m home alone.
Where do you sleep? I like to spend the night my crate, but when my family is home, I sleep in a pet bed or on the couch.
What was life like before you were rescued by Even Chance and brought into the welcoming arms of your foster parents? I was picked up as a stray and brought to County Animal Control. The shelter life was stressing me out, so my foster family decided to pull me so I could grow up to be a well adjusted boy in a quiet home.
