Cora Rottweiler Mix Oklahoma City, OK

Meet Cora! She is around 11 months old and 70 lbs. We believe she may be a Rottweiler or Mountain dog mix based on her coloration and broad build. She came to us after her owner passed away and she is looking for her new forever family.

Cora is just a true sweetheart. She loves people and just wants to be around you. She is friendly and does well meeting new humans. She would love to snuggle up on the couch with you! She has an overall gentle temperament

Cora is good with other dogs, big and small. She enjoys being outside and sometimes playing with other dogs. She is young and still has playful bursts but they don't usually last long and she enjoys finding a nice place to nap or chew on a toy after playtime. We're unsure how she may be with cats.

This beauty is house and kennel trained and takes treats nicely. She is working on jumping up but isn't too overpowering when she does. She is leash trained and would do great with a family or person to help her contine to learn. Cora has an overall gentle temperament but due to her size she may do best in a home with older children (6 yrs +) since she could knock small children over as she continues to learn good manners.

Cora does have a mild issue with her hips due to flattened femur heads. Her condition doesn't require surgery at this time but she can experience some pain during running. Since she has shorter bursts of energy and playful periods, we don't anticipate much difficulty for her while she is younger but this is something for a potential adopter to be mindful of as she ages.

Cora is a love bug who can't wait to find her forever home with a couch to snuggle up on and a family to love!
