Meet Cooper!

Cooper is a 10 months old, neutered male, Beagle/Hound mix. He currently weighs in about 28 pounds.

Cooper is a very high energy dog which means he would highly benefit from having an owner that is active as well. He enjoys going for long walks and sniffing everything along the way while hiking. It is unknown how he does with children but he absolutely is a lover of his adult people. Cooper really enjoys being around humans and gets super excited around them! He does know basic commands such as sit, lay down, and spin. This boy is very food motivated when it comes to training. He does currently pull when walking on the leash but with time and patience he could easily walk with loose lead.

Peppermint Pig Animal Rescue is assisting Cooper's current owner with re-homing. Cooper is not currently in a Peppermint Pig Foster home, but we will be handling the screening of adoption applications and meet and greets. We want to make sure Cooper finds his perfect forever home.


$165 rehoming donation kindly requested (made to Peppermint Pig Animal Rescue 501c3 so we can continue to help other animals in need).

Adoptions are held at our Adoption Center inside Peppermint Pig Thrift and Gift on Saturdays from 1:00pm to 4:00pm. Please complete your adoption application in advance so our volunteers have time to screen and contact potential adopters.

IMPORTANT: All applications are reviewed in the order they are received and qualifications are based on best fit for each individual pet. A volunteer will contact you if you are selected for a meet with adoptable pet. Final approval is always made in person.
