Hey there, I'm Conway! I came into this world on October 16th, born as the 6th pup in a litter of 10. My journey began when Safe Haven graciously took my momma in when she was pregnant. I spent my early days nestled in the warmth of a foster home before I even opened my eyes.

I may be a bit shy at first, but don't let that fool you! Every day, I'm growing more confident and learning that the world isn't such a scary place after all. Loud noises? They startle me a bit, but I'm getting braver with each passing day.
One thing you should know about me is that I'm a great travel buddy! Put me in a car, and I'm as calm as can be. Leash walks? Piece of cake! I'll stroll beside you like a pro.

Now, let's talk about potty training. It's a work in progress as I am young but I promise I'm doing my best to learn the ropes. And guess what? I'm already crate trained! Sure, I might whine a little when I first go in, but once I settle down, it's smooth sailing.

When it comes to socializing, I'm a champ. I love playing with other dogs, and kids? Oh, they're the best! But what I love most of all is cuddling up with my favorite humans. There's nothing quite like a good snuggle session to make me feel safe and loved.

Illinois law requires that all of our dogs and puppies be spay/neutered within 14 days of a veterinarian deeming the dog or puppy is ready to be altered. In order to fully comply with this regulation and reduce the number of homeless dogs and puppies, we do not permit out of state adoptions of unaltered dogs or puppies.

Our standard adoption fee is $375 cash or check and $385 credit card ($10 processing fee). It includes spay/neuter when age appropriate at our participating vets, age appropriate core vaccinations, fecal testing, deworming, flea and tick preventative,1st vet visit at one of our participating vets, and micro-chipping.

We must have an application, conduct a phone interview, and meet your entire family to approve an adoption. Applications will not be reviewed unless fully completed. An application does not commit you to adopting and does not guarantee adoption but does allow us to begin the review process.
