“Contessa”

We will now be taking applications on Tess.
There will be a lot of requirements and boxes to check to be approved to adopt her.

Tess is a beautiful soft and curly coated bernadoodle. Her coat will require grooming, so you must be ready to spend the money on grooming.
She is around 65 pounds and 3 years old.

Tess is a very intelligent dog, but lacks socialization skills due to her former life.

Tess will need another dog in the home who is social and outgoing to help build her confidence.

Tess’ likes include:
Other dogs?
Praise and affection
Belly rubs after trust if established
Playing fetch—belly rubs after she retrieves the ball?
Safe spots (under tables, chairs beds)
Chew toys ?

Fears:
Doorways
Anything in your hands when approaching her
Thunder ??
Loud noises and sudden moments
Strangers (tries to hide or runaway)

Tess will bolt if she is startled or overwhelmed. A fenced in yard is a must. It is going to take Tess a while to bond with her adopter. She will need someone who is willing to give her the time and loving energy. She is potty trained, other than fear peeing.

She only wants to get on the furniture by you during a Thunderstorm, other than that—she prefers to lay by your feet.

She is one of the sweetest dogs and doesn’t have a single bit of aggression, she just needs the right companion who understands her. ?
