Coco Miniature Poodle & Maltese Mix Littleton, CO

Coco will turn 2 years old in April, and he weighs a hefty 8 lbs. He was bought from a breeder by an older couple who meant well, but they spoiled the heck out of this tiny boy and he became quite a brat, thinking that he was the pack leader. Their children urged them to seek a rescue for little Coco Puff, and he recently joined our rescue.

This little Coco Puff is a sweet boy, housetrained and enjoys other dogs. He is starting to play with toys, and enjoying getting on a routine that the humans in the house have established. He does have a protective side where he can get growly if he is on his person’s lap and another person comes too close or a dog jumps up near him. His fosters are working on curtailing that behavior and he’s doing much better. He’s a bit like a child who was never told “no” and he’s responding well to clear direction now. Coco will need a home with no small humans because he’s working through these issues.

Coco came to us already neutered, microchipped, heartworm negative, and up to date on his vaccinations (rabies, distemper and kennel cough), He even had a dental in his young life already to remove some retained baby teeth.
