Coco Miniature Pinscher & Chihuahua Mix Baton Rouge, LA

Coco is a healthy, active and playful senior male Min Pin/Chihuahua mix, turning 10 yrs old on 3/28/24. His mom went to a nursing home and Coco was left in the home alone for six months, being cared for daily by a sweet neighbor who fed him and let him out to potty. But then came the sad news that his mom would not be coming home..... We know he misses his mom's company and would love a safe and loving FOREVER home where he will spend the rest of his years as a snuggle buddy, companion and lapdog. Please open your heart and your home to a senior dog. You will not regret it. He is a little overweight but we are addressing that and he already looks like he has lost a couple of pounds. The cloudiness in his right eye is NOT a cataract but looks to be irritation from an old eye injury which is being treated. He lived with cats so he may have been scratched. But he's not mad about---he still hangs out with and likes those persnickety critters! He is now neutered, microchipped, up-to-date on vaccines and heartworm negative. Good vetting history, a completely and securely fenced yard and a live or virtual home visit is required for approval.
