Clyde Pointer & Boxer Mix Atlanta, GA

Clyde is a 1 year old, 47 lb mixed breed pup. He sat at animal control for 8 months before he became urgent and on their euthanasia list due to space. Thankfully, one of our fosters was able to step up and take him.

Clyde’s foster mom says the following about him:
Clyde’s loving and playful personality comes out day by day and he’s embracing all the joys life has to offer.

He enjoys playing with his stuffed squeaky toys and chewing on bully sticks and dental treats. He’s also done very well walking on a leash and always looks forward to his daily walks. Make sure you have a good hold on him as sometimes he can get a little excited when he sees other dogs.

While in his new foster home, he’s mastered potty training (both on a leash and in a yard) and can sleep through the night. He’s also done very well gated without destruction, accidents or excessive barking.

Clyde is very sweet and warms up easily. He’s your little sidekick that enjoys accompanying you around the house, snuggling next to you while you work or watch TV and sleeping close to you at night.

Clyde still has puppy energy—so he will require owners who are committed to walking him and ensuring he gets enough play time with his toys. He’d thrive as the only dog in the household or with another dog that could show him the ropes.

He is also cat friendly.

His adoption fee is $250, which includes his shots up-to-date, microchipping, neuter, heartworm testing, and he had a dental cleaning (his teeth had tarter due to the food at the shelter).
