Cletus Treeing Walker Coonhound Eaton, OH

Cletus's story is enough to break your heart. Cletus originally came to us on 12/1/16 as a 7 month old Walker Hound. A cute young dog, he was quickly adopted on 1/2/17. He was a member of their family for just over 4 years when the bark of a Walker Hound woke their new baby and he was booted from the family and returned here 2/27/21. We will never forget the look of total panic and defeat when we removed his collar and he watched his family walk out the door. It is a look we will never forget and still brings tears to our eyes. His life turned around when he met his new owner, a young man looking for his new best friend. Cletus fit the bill and they walked out together on 10/11/21. Unfortunately, Cletus lost his owner in a tragic accident and is back with us for the third time. Now considered a senior at 7 years old, he is still the handsome guy we have always known. We hope that someone can open their home and their heart and give this poor dog the forever home that he thought he had.
