Meet Clara
Clara is a sweet, young German Shepherd who was left tied to the shelter entrance. The staff discovered her when they arrived for work, so she already has the sympathy of those who know her.
Clara is a bit shy until she is comfortable but once she knows you, she is affectionate and sweet. Clara loves to run in the yard and chase toys although she hasn't graduated to returning them. She will snuggle in for petting and is learning to trust people again. Clara's leash skills are improving daily, and she seems to enjoy her walks.
Clara needs a family that understands they need to allow her to progress at her own pace. In return they will get a loving and intelligent girl that will complete their family.
The shelter has an appointment only policy. We ask potential adopters to fill out our application, prior to a scheduled meeting. The staff is very accommodating, and we welcome any inquires.
