Introducing Claire Bear - Your Forever Loving Companion!

Are you looking for a furry friend who will warm your heart and quickly become your closest confidant? Look no further than Claire Bear, a charming canine with a heart full of love and a wag that can brighten even the gloomiest of days.

Claire Bear may be a bit shy when meeting new people, but don't let that fool you. Once she feels comfortable in your presence, she blossoms into a loyal and affectionate companion. This sweet girl has a remarkable ability to build strong bonds with her humans in record time, leaving no doubt that she'll become an inseparable part of your life.

While Claire Bear enjoys the company of other dogs during playtime, she does have a tendency to resource guard her people, food, toys, and bones, especially when she's on the couch. For this reason, it's best if she's the only dog in the home, unless her adopter is willing to work on muzzle training to ensure everyone's safety and well-being.

Cuddle enthusiasts, rejoice! Claire Bear is a cuddle aficionado who adores snuggling on the couch with her favorite humans. Her affectionate nature knows no bounds, and she'll gladly shower you with love and warmth whenever you're near.

In terms of energy levels, Claire Bear falls into the medium to high range. Her entire body wags with excitement, but she doesn't require lengthy runs or intense exercise sessions. However, she'll appreciate a good playtime session to keep her tail wagging and her spirits high.

Currently, Claire Bear is thriving in a foster home with a cat and a small dog. This demonstrates her adaptability and ability to coexist with other furry friends if managed properly. She's also great with older kids, making her an excellent fit for families seeking a loyal and friendly companion.

Not only is Claire Bear crate trained and house trained, but she's also a quick learner who is eager to please. With a little patience and positive reinforcement, she'll thrive in an environment where consistent training and structure are provided.

If you're ready to open your heart and home to an incredible canine companion, Claire Bear is eagerly waiting to meet you. Complete an application today at rarerescue.org and take the first step towards welcoming this wonderful furball into your life. Prepare to be amazed by the love and joy she'll bring to your world!

Read the adoptable’s bio below, including their adoption fee

Go to RARErescue.org and Read our ADOPTION PROCESS page under the "Adopt" section

Complete the  DOG ADOPTION INTEREST FORM (located on our website RARErescue.org)

We understand that it is important to you to find the right fit for your family. We feel the same way! The DOG ADOPTION INTEREST FORM is important and REQUIRED for this reason.

All of our Adoptables are:

Spayed/neutered; Up to date on vaccines; Heartworm tested if six months or older (& kept on heartworm preventative and treated for heartworms if positive when entering our program): Microchipped prior to adoption

BREEDS: We are not breed experts. The breed(s) listed for each adoptable are best guesses or suggestions.

PLEASE NOTE: We are a non-profit organization without municipal or government funding. Veterinary/Medical expenses are constant for an animal rescue. Our adoption fees not only help to provide vetting and care for the animal being adopted, but they also help to cover heartworm treatments and other treatable ailments that many animals, that would otherwise be euthanized, need in order to be made available for adoption.

Please understand that adopting an animal is a LIFETIME COMMITMENT to that animal and there will be veterinary expenses throughout their life that can often cost several hundreds, if not thousands of dollars (without pet insurance), especially without annual checkups and preventative care.  As a potential family for this pet you are responsible for their safety and that includes keeping them on your property.

***If you are not in the middle Tennessee area, transport can potentially be arranged to approved homes, depending on distance and local adaptability. We normally do not allow adoptions outside of 1.5 hours driving distance.
