Chuno Labrador Retriever & Shepherd Mix Fort Lupton, CO

Chuno spent April 15 with a volunteer. Here is the volunteer's update:

We had the honor of taking Chuno out for a day!!! He is a charismatic, intelligent, energetic goofball! He was eager and curious to explore our home and was so excited to have his very own squeaky toys! He is very treat motivated and was able to learn "sit" during his time with us.

He walks well on leash and likes to take his time to sniff around. He did not seem to react to other dogs walking and gets along with his kennel-mates. We think he could benefit from a dog friend in the home to teach him "how to dog" but could also be a solo dog.

Because he has lived in the shelter most his life, he needs someone patient who will help him learn boundaries and potty training. He loves food, which will make training easier.

He could do well with older kids--he tends to get excited and jump so he may not be the best around young kids.

Chuno is one of the sweetest pups we've ever met. He has the biggest heart. Apply to meet him today and you will have a best friend for life.
