Meet CHUCKY. Chucky is a young rat terrier. The rat terrier breed was created to exterminate rats from farmland, but practical farmers knew that the breed needed to be companions, as well. Chucky is the product of a backyard breeder. He wasn’t socialized at first, but is now coming along nicely. At first, he was skittish, but then he warmed up to his foster parents after three days. He likes being picked up by his foster mama and loved on. He wags his tail. Chucky plays nicely with other dogs, but he thinks the cat is a rat, because he chases it. He will do well without cats in his forever home. He will also need a secure fenced yard.
Chucky is neutered and UTD on vaccines. WE DO NOT ADOPT OUT FARTHER THAN 60 MILES FROM TOLEDO.
