Meet Chuck

Hello my name is Chuck. I am an 8 year old Beagle mix. I'm not too big, I weigh 28lbs. I came from a hoarding situation with my family. We didn't have names but we were all loved. It just became too much for our elderly owner. I still have lots of love to give! I am the leader in my group so I ensure that I eat first! This can cause arguments so I was moved to a kennel by myself. Why? Because I'm head dog, I would prefer to be the solo king of your heart and home! I run with some of the other dogs during the day in an open area. I have lots of energy. Sammie had a hard time taking my picture cause I was having to much fun sniffing to raise my head up...lol. I'd love to find me a new home where I could be inside but outside also. I love being outside! I would also love for my family to take me on walks to see new things. Keep me on a leash cause I may chase the squirrels. The shelter doesn't know if I chase cats. But if they run I may run also! Look at me ~ I'm very handsome! Don't you agree?
