"Chief is goofball with so much love to give. He is very food motivated and learns quickly with treat training! He is the ultimate cuddle baby and will want to be next to you at all times. He is incredibly affectionate and loves belly rubs and kisses. He has done amazing with the other household dog and does not bark on our walks when he sees other dogs. He walks great on leash and loves to take it slow to sniff around! He would be so happy in a home where he can get lots of affection and attention! Chief is excited and ready to find his forever family!

Previous shelter staff notes: What a sweet and loving boy! The way to Chief's heart is with food and he loves everyone he meets! He did great in a large playgroup today and had no issues with toys or treats with the other dogs! He even tolerated my dress up shenanigans and he was a very polite gentleman today!

We are a foster-based rescue and generally do not have pups available to meet at our office except during adoption events on Saturdays. Not every dog attends every adoption event.

Interested in this pup? The first step is to complete our online application by clicking the "Apply for Adoption" button. Please note that we are only able to finalize adoptions at events for approved adopters. The earlier you apply, the better as it takes time to review and approve applications.

We host adoption events almost every Saturday from 10:00am to 1:00pm at our rescue office (1721 W Harmony, unit 102, Fort Collins, Co 80526)! Check our Instagram and/or Facebook page for info on where we will be hosting adoptions this weekend!

All Aboard Animal Rescue saves dogs and puppies from high-kill shelters in other states. These pups are brought to Colorado, where they are required to be spayed or neutered - breaking the cycle of unwanted litters of puppies who end up as strays!
