Meet Chickie, a three year old Bernese Mountain Dog looking for her forever home. Chickie is a shy but playful girl who was recently rescued from a puppy mill. She is coming out of her shell and showing such a beautiful and playful personality. She has proven to be timid at first, but has broken out of her shell into a playful snuggle bug. She takes a little longer to warm up to men than women. She loves sitting in the yard and watching her humans or playing with her fellow furry housemates. We think she might do well with dog playmates who aren’t too small so they can make the most out of playtime. Chickie walks on a leash but sudden noises or mistrust can make her cower. She would love a fenced yard to hang out in with her people. She will need training trust exercises with you to build a relationship. It’s worth it! Trust us!
