Chevy Nova Labrador Retriever Mix Danbury, CT

This sweet pup is Chevy Nova. She is 7-months-old and weighs 60 lb. We think she is a lab mix, but could have some Great Dane in the mix. Chevy was the next dog to be euthanized due to lack of kennel space at a rural pound in Kentucky when we stepped in and got her outta there! She is such a doll and is going to make someone a great companion. Although she was a bit shy when she got here, within just a couple days, she has settled in at her foster home and is doing great! Her foster says "Chevy is both goofy and sweet! As soon as you pet her, she melts in your hands. She gets along with my dogs and will keep herself entertained with toys and napping. She likes to explore the yard but is not a high-energy girl. Chevy is super smart and in the very short time I have had her, she has made incredible progress with basic commands and is now housetrained. As a person that has had dogs my whole life, I am really impressed with how fast she is learning! At night Chevy Nova sleeps in a crate and will sleep through the night."
