Meet Chevy Chase-me
Chevy Chase-me earned his name after being pursued for months by neighbors, rescuers, and AC officers. They finally had to trap him. Turns out he was terrified of humans. Particularly woman for some reason. =(
So, because of his fear, he couldn't be placed for adoption due to his risk of running away.
Now, Chevy is still unsure of people but will come take a treat out of your hand and play fetch with you! Working daily with little man, he's beginning to trust some. We will continue to work with this little cutie everyday until he understands that he no longer has anything to fear.
Chevy loves playing with other dogs and respects the cats. He doesn't seem to fear children as much as adults. But, he still keeps his distance whenever possible.
