Meet Chestnut
Meet one of the coolest pups in town! Chestnut and his three brothers, three sisters and mom came to us from Texas just to find their forever homes!
These young pups are only 7 months old, but already around 50 lbs! Luckily, the majority of their growing is done, though they'll fill out a bit more. They are shepherd/hound mixes who were found in someone's backyard down in Texas - we're so glad they're safe with us and ready for loving homes!
Chestnut is the most unique looking pup out of the group, he has beautiful long fur - and as you can see, he loves belly rubs! He's a goofy boy who loves playing with his siblings and prancing around like the majestic beauty he is!
Come meet any of these boys, or their sisters! Fill out an adoption questionnaire at www.fatherjohns.org/adopt. You'll get an email to reply to in order to make an appointment. Appointments are required Weds/Fri. Walk ins are accepted with appointments preferred every other day.
***Chestnut is not yet neutered, but is still available to be seen and adopted. His neuter date is 2/28/24, and is included with their adoption fee. We can answer any questions during counseling when you meet them, or call us at 973-300-5909
