Chestnut Weimaraner Mix Richardson, TX

Was found in an enclosed parking garage on the very top floor - he was hiding under vehicles.Very sweet, social, exciteable, friendly, and playful with all staff. He saw our loose cat that hangs out in the lobby resting up on the counter and looked at him very confused and curious, then quickly went on his merry way exploring the lobby. Is very dog reactive when being walked through the runs (barks and jumps up at the kennel door in an aggressive manner when other dogs walk by). Due to this, if you have a dog at home, we will require a meet and greet to make sure they are compatible. Per Doggy Day Out volunteer:Hes super duper cute and playful. He is approximately 10 months old so he is still a puppy especially for his breed so he was following me around everywhere. He is super playful, did not play bite and would get immediate zoomies when I walked up to him in a playful manner. He does bark at other dogs when passing by their kennel but I feel like this is a learned behavior from the other dogs in the shelter. In the park, another dog passed by and he barked a little but I just redirected him and he just became curious about the other dog. He is stray and a puppy so he may not have had any physical interaction with any other dog other than his mother and siblings. Hes still a baby so he has a lot to learn and would be suitable for anyone willing to introduce a young dog to new things and have a fresh start.
