Meet Cherry Cordial! Cherry is a 1 year old rat terrier mix. As typical with his breed, he's super sweet and is very vocal (which can sometimes be misunderstood as aggression). Once he knows you, and what you expect of him, he is quite the cuddler.

He gets an attitude sometimes just because he can (again: rat terrier personality trait). Cherry's ideal home would be a calm home, without a lot of hoopla going on. He loves daily long walks (good for you too)! Cherry likes dogs and doesn't mind a cat if they respect his boundaries. Cherry is a collar guy, (he hates a harness).

Applications are not animal specific, as the animals in our adoption program change daily.
Once your application is approved, you will be contacted within a few days to set up an appointment to meet your forever friend. Your application will remain valid for 6 months, so no need to fill out multiple applications.

Once you meet your new fur-baby, you will be able to take the animal home for a week trial period to ensure a good fit before committing to adopt.

Zeus' Rescues adoption fee includes: spay/neuter, microchip, first round of vaccines including rabies vaccine, first round of flea and heartworm prevention.
Please note that we assume most of our animals are house trained. In a rescue setting, sometimes it's hard to tell, but most dogs do not like to soil their kennels, and are accustomed to going potty outdoors.
