Meet Checkers - Rescued FJ
We're calling this handsome hound Checkers. Checkers was found on Pera Rd on 9/3, and brought in as a stray. He is extremely thin, but we will work on getting him to a healthy weight.
Checkers is approximately 3 years old and weighs 42lbs. Like most hounds he is happy, friendly, and loves treats. He seemed friendly passing the other dog's kennels, but would need a meet and greet with any resident dogs. He has not been cat tested yet.
Our shelter is getting extremely full. We'll be posting more dogs throughout the day. If you've been considering adopting, now is the time.
Come meet Checkers and all of our other wonderful dogs. If not reclaimed, Checkers will be available on 9/9.
