Chateau Labrador Retriever & Hound Mix Springfield, MO

Meet Chateau! He is a 7-year-old lab mix. He’s the perfect medium-sized family dog. Chateau is dog-friendly and good with older kids (10+) that understand boundaries, since he can get excited easily. He would prefer no cats in his future household, but does well with dogs and would love for you to set up a meet and greet if you have any in your home. Chateau loves the outdoors, and you’ll find him playing with toys or rolling around in the grass when in our backyard! He is house-trained, knows basic commands, walks well on a leash, and is only missing a home.

At the Humane Society of Southwest Missouri, our goal is to match potential adopters with a pet that is best suited to their home, interests, and lifestyle. All of our animals are up to date on vaccinations, spayed/neutered, microchipped, given flea/tick prevention, and dewormer. Our adoption fees cover the cost of any vet care needed.
