Hi! I’m Charlie, and my foster mom says I’m the perfect mix between sweet and sassy.

She also says I’m fearless. I asked her what that means, and she said I’m literally not afraid of anything and that’s a great quality to have, especially at my young age.



For example, I run up and down the stairs with no issue at all! Well, to be completely honest, I was a little taken aback by the vacuum the first time my foster mom used it, but she gave me lots of yummy treats, so I really understood it wasn’t a big deal. We’ll keep practicing that so, hopefully, the vacuum will become a normal thing for me soon.

I’m very curious and I like to explore everything, especially since I still get treats for doing that in a calm way.

I’m very well house trained; in fact, I’ve had ZERO accidents – sorry, let me brag a little here and say it again – I’ve had ZERO accidents in the house since my foster mom has taken me in. On the other hand, I go to the yard door every time I need to do my business, to make her understand she has to let me out.

My foster mom also says I’m very smart and I’ve already figured out a lot of things. For example, although I’m a bit mouthy, I’ve understood I have to be gentle if my mom’s fingers get in the way of my mouth! And if that happens it’s not my fault!!

I’ve already learned not to jump up – at least most of the time - and how to sit on cue, and I know my name. I’ve also started running to my foster mom when she calls me, although we need to keep practicing that.

I sleep very well in my crate, even though I whine a little, at first. I’m not left in there during the day, and I don’t like to be left alone for too long, but this is still a new environment for me, so I think it’s quite normal.

I live with two big foster sister dogs and I play with them quite well. After a playtime, I go into the X-pen my foster mom has set up for me by myself and I settle very well. Some other times, I cuddle on the couch with her.

I’ve also been exposed to other dogs and a cat, and it’s gone very well. I can get a little excited when I’m on leash, but my foster mom is working on that.

I would love to find a forever home with other dogs and/or older kids, since I have lots of puppy energy to burn. I would also love to be taken on outdoor adventures.
