Meatball English Bulldog & Beagle Mix Rochester, NY

Hi everyone! My name is Meatball! You may recognize me.. I’m formerly known as Trooper. But honestly, I never ever responded to that name. So now, I’m Meatball which is much more fitting. I’m a one year old Beabull who is so grateful to be saved. I’m fully vetted and ready for my forever home.

I’d love a home with a fenced in yard so I can get my zoomies out! I thrive on a schedule and am very very smart. My foster mama says sometimes I’m too smart for my own good! I aim to please my people! In fact, my favorite things are: humans, a special pillow, walks, belly rubs and playing with other dogs!

I have a lot of energy and am hoping to find a family or person who will help me adjust to a new environment. I follow correction and guidance very well. I love EVERYONE I meet, especially kiddos. But I’d do best in a home with kids over 8 years old because if I get a little rambunctious, I could knock a little one over.

I love other dogs too! I’m a little bossy, NOT AGGRESSIVE at all… just like to be the big man on campus. I’d do great as an only dog, but can also be in a home with other dogs if they let me be me, which usually means, the boss. I LOVE to play fetch and I LOVE to snuggle even more.

People weren’t too nice to me before I came into rescue. If someone raises their hand just to scratch their head, sometimes I cower in fear because of my past. But don’t worry, I don’t hold my past against the humans I meet. :-) I’m just a happy silly boy hoping to find a home with someone who will love me and play with me.


I am potty trained and neutered and up to date on all of my shots and preventatives! My adoption fee is $300 which includes: neuter, a microchip with a lifetime subscription, rabies, bordetella, and DAPP vaccines, flea/heartworm preventative, and a deworming treatment while in foster care.
