Meet Chanterelle aka Athena
This sweet mama hound is Chanterelle! Chanterelle is a gentle soul that can be a little timid around new people, but once she warms up, she's the sweetest lady. She is looking for a family that will be patient with her as she has little experience being an indoor dog, but she's already got some practice since being here. Chanterelle has gotten along with a number of different dogs during her time with us - everything from playful young males to laid back older ladies. Still, she would like to meet any resident dogs before her adoption. Chanterelle is a hound, meaning she loves to have fun and follow her nose. Due to her vocal nature, she is required to go to a single family home with no shared walls. Luckily though, Chanterelle has had $100 donated towards her adoption fee!
