Meet Chance
Chance was found running through traffic on a busy road, likely dumped. His foster mom pulled him from a shelter where he was at risk & gave him a safe spot to wait for his furever family. Chance is approximately 9 years old by what we can tell. Which means he is a distinguished & settled gentlemen.
His breed mix? Your guess is as good as ours! We played a guessing game and thought Shar pei? Bull Terrier? He is such a unique looking guy, we're stumped! Chance does well with his fellow foster dogs & cats but exhibits guarding behaviors when it comes to goodies (food, treats, favorite toys.) Being the king that he is, he should have his own space with these items to enjoy them. For the same reason, a home with young children is not recommended since they love sharing so much. We also think he would prefer to avoid kitties.
Given his past, he is a little hesitant about strangers and needs slow introductions. He does do great with proper instruction and will climb right into your lap for a good snuggle once he knows you. He is neutered, up to date on vaccines, 4DX tested negative, & flea treated.
