Chala Australian Cattle Dog / Blue Heeler Mix Harrogate, TN

Meet Chala!
Chala is a 1 year old heeler mix, a small gal only around 30lbs. She came to us at 10 months old with her newborn pups who are now growing weeds and ready for adoption themselves. She was a great mama despite being a puppy herself. Chala is extremely smart and in true heeler fashion is a very busy girl. She needs lots of mental and physical stimulation and would do great with an active family. She does great with other dogs and ok with cats as long as they’re ok with her being in their face. She loves being around her humans and attaches very hard and very fast.
Chala will need a family that will give her a few weeks to adapt to her new surroundings. She gets very anxious in new situations until she gets comfortable. However, she walks great on a leash, loves to run and fetch and is a huge sunbather. She is potty trained when let out on a schedule. She would not be suitable for an apartment, first time dog owner, or in a home where her humans are gone most of the day. She is a special girl with lots of love to give! We just need to find her perfect match.
