BASICS: Cane Corso / male / 5-6 years old
CHILDREN: Yes, older than 12 and with previous experience/training with big dogs
CATS: Unknown
DOGS: May be able to live with mellow female dogs over 70lbs, with very slow introduction and supervision
PERSONALITY: Medium energy level; Very sweet and affectionate; Enjoys playing with toys, exploring outdoors in the yard, and hanging out with people
TRAINING: Housebroken, leash trained, knows basic obedience and how to use a dog door
SPECIAL NEEDS: Chai was part of an animal cruelty seizure in January 2020. He spent nearly 4 years at a large municipal shelter while his owner’s court case dragged through the legal system. Despite this ordeal, Chai has an incredible temperament and is a very balanced dog, but he will need a home on the quieter side to continue his decompression and acclimation to the good life.
VETTING: Fully vaccinated, neutered, heartworm negative, microchipped
