Casper Pit Bull Terrier Mix Hasbrouck Heights, NJ

Casper, the super friendly little guy, is looking for his "Wendy" to help him overcome the ghosts of his past. He's a young guy about 6mo-1 year old and only 30 pounds! He wants nothing more than to shadow his person with his favorite bone or toy in tow! He is a loverrr and enjoys meeting new people and snuggling with his favorite humans. You may not be able to see through him, but he can surely see right through the human eye, knowing exactly when you need some extra love after a rough day. Casper would do best as the only pet or in a dog-experienced home with another bigger patient dog that he can learn from. Casper would need a balanced doggy sibling that will be equally patient but also have boundaries. He arrived to us emaciated and wearing some battle wounds from his past. He wants his person to know and understand he is working really hard on sharing his toys and food with other dogs but his past still haunts him. While he is named after a friendly ghost, he does not seem to understand his excitement to go play outside. We will not allow him to fly through walls and doors, but he's working on that too! Casper can positively brag he is crate trained and housebroken, but knows he is still a young little boy who will be nervous seeing his person/people leave until he learns his new routines, and trusts he will see his person/people again once they come home. Casper knows his "Wendy" is out there somewhere, waiting to love him without fear and tackle new adventures together!
