Meet Carlos
Carlos was born here at the shelter and adopted out when he was a puppy. He is about 2 to 3 years old, now.
After he had an incident with being bitten by a snake (and treated for it), he developed some fear issues in the home he was in, and with young children around, the decision was made to bring him back to us to find him a new home.
He is house trained, does great with most dogs and cats. He is extremely affectionate and does get attached to "his" people.
He is currently being fostered with a local couple (and their dogs and cats) and is doing well in that environment. He goes to "doggy daycare" with his foster mom and is doing so well. He has also been doing well around kids, both in his foster home and out in public.
