This unique girl is Cara!

Cara is an approximately 14-month old female Border Terrier/Schnauzer mix who weighs 30 lbs. She was rescued after being abandoned in the country.

Cara is the sweetest! She is very friendly to people and other dogs as well. She loves to play with other dogs and would do best in a home with another playful dog. She has been great with the children that she has been around.

Cara is playful and affectionate. She loves toys! She would love a home where she is included in family activities and made a member of the family. She does require a secure stockade fence as she has long legs and could possibly climb a chain-link.

Cara is currently in a day-care (boarding) situation so she qualifies as a foster-to-adopt or just as a foster.

Since she is in boarding, we can't say that she is house-trained. She is crate-trained and does okay on a leash. She could be house-trained or she may need assistance with house-training. A harness-type leash would be a better option than a clip-on leash with Cara.

Cara is spayed, current on vaccines, heartworm negative, and microchipped. Her adoption fee is $200.
