Meet Candy
Little Candy is only about 15 lbs. !
She was confused and scared of new surroundings when she got here, but is already relaxed in her foster home. She came from a hoarding situation in Bakersfield. I don’t believe she had ever been on a leash; she is still scared of it. Her comfort level has improved so she wiggles and wags whenever her name is called. She is about four and was with that woman all her life so she didn’t meet new people or learn to walk on a leash. She does go on puppy pads but doesn’t like the cold.
She needs a calm and quiet home and a mom with patience and a warm lap. She is fine with other small dogs, and is even playing now with her friends. She loves treats and has gained the weight she needed.
She will take a while to adjust to a new home but once she does she will love and trust u forever and never stop kissing. She is a cuddle bug and loves to sleep in bed with mom.
