Meet CALYPSO
Calypso is a calm and gentle girl. Shes happy to amuse herself for the most part by meandering around and seeing what there is to smell around her. She can be very independent. That all changes when she realizes you have treats. Then you have her undivided attention! This girl loves her treats and will nudge you politely to ask for another. It seems like shes been learning to sit on command to earn more. Shes not perfect at it yet, but shes getting there! Shes very ladylike on a leash. She walks without pulling and is easy to take for walks. She seems to have a lower energy level. Calypso came into the shelter as a stray on 3/8/24. She probably had a family of her own at some point as you can tell her neck is used to wearing a collar, but unfortunately she wasnt wearing one when she came in and she had no owner information on her. It seems like shes seen some tough times since shes missing the tip of her right ear, but shes ready to put all that behind her now and find new love.
