Meet Butch
Please read ENTIRE post before applying.
Butch has had a horrible start to his short life. He was found in Mexico with his throat cut from his neck all the way to his chest. We aren't sure what had happened, but he obviously needed immediate medical attention. Once he had some time to heal from that injury he was able to go to foster and start learning what it's like to be a real dog. He needs a lot of help with socialization, doesn't like strangers- he wants to protect his home a d his family and will charge and bite any strangers that come into the house.
He would do best in a home that does not have many people in and out.
A family that understands that he needs to be put in a crate when people come over. He is absolutely charming and wonderful with his people. Not with strangers!!. Once he understands that you are his friend he becomes a total cuddle bug who just wants affection. We really think that with the right socialization he will be an incredible dog, he will just need some time and patience to get there. At this time we are not accepting applicants with children in the home.
