Meet Buster Brown!

Breed: Young American Staffordshire Terrier Mix
Age: Approximately 1.5 years old
Weight: 60 pounds

Buster's Story:

Buster Brown was found on August 31, 2023, tied to a lamp post on the side of the road. A caring family picked him up but couldn't keep him, so we took him in. When we found him, he was missing 40% of his fur and had hundreds of ant bites. He was dehydrated, underfed, and without any identification. After a thorough vet check, he was heartworm-negative and parasite-free. Buster has since been neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, and nursed back to health.

Buster is a happy, sweet dog who is non-aggressive and very friendly with humans, including adults and kids. He loves to run and play, especially with kids and other dogs. He adores toys, particularly tennis balls, and enjoys fetching. In the evenings, Buster loves to cuddle and watch TV by your side. He has a strong prey drive and enjoys chasing cats, squirrels, and birds. He is potty trained, Kennel Trained (he eats and sleeps in his kennel). He knows basic Commands: Sit, Shake, Kennel, Leave-it, Gentle. He is very smart and trainable. Buster would thrive in a home with a playmate and provide endless fun, laughter, and love. He is fully vaccinated, neutered, microchipped, and on heartworm preventative. All he needs now is a loving family to call his own.

Temperament Test:
Buster underwent an 8-hour temperament test at a boarding facility, where he did extremely well. He was eager to play with other dogs, made friends easily, and adapted well to the new environment, enjoying the attention and cuddles from the staff. The temperament test report will be included in his adoption documents.
