Buster Beagle & Pug Mix Springfield, MO

Buster here, with great news! If you're looking for a warm, friendly, calm, puggle (beagle/puggle mix) boy to go for walks and keep you company, you found him!! I'm not sure how I ended up needing to be rescued, but I did, and I'm very thankful to be out of traffic and in a safe, warm foster home. My rescuers know someone cared for me in the past. Even though I was quite skinny when I was found, my nails were trimmed, and my skin and coat were in good shape. I know I love, love, love people and food (usually in that order). I'm not a beggar, but I sure enjoy getting fed.

I weigh a svelte 32 pounds, and we think I'm about 8-years-young. I get along with other dogs about my size (afraid of the big, scary ones), and I haven't really paid attention to dog-savvy cats. I'm not sure about kids, but I'm pretty laid back, and very friendly, so I'd be happy to meet respectful children. I've lost some teeth along the way, but the nice Rescue One vet cleaned my existing teeth. I'll just need to eat canned food and soft treats forever. . . yay!! The kennel isn't my favorite place, but I don't bother anything in the house when I'm out. I would rather be near you, wherever you are, so I might do well as a shotgun rider in a big rig (as long as I get a bit of exercise along the way). I can be vocal when I'm left alone, so an apartment might not work well. I'm great on a leash and in the car, and I'm fully potty trained. I would love a fenced yard, and a doggy door would make a fenced yard even better!!! I'm a doggy door pro!
