Buddy Corgi Mix Orleans, VT

Say Hello to Buddy, a handsome, six year old corgi mix who would make almost any home his palace. This jovial little guy entered our shelter when his family could no longer care for him. While Buddy quickly wiggled his way into the hearts of all of the ladies with his big personality, he was initially very hesitant around men. But the commitment from one of our male volunteers paved the way in rebuilding Buddy's trust in men. Since this breakthrough for Buddy, he has welcomed interaction with other men, and has enjoyed outings where he met various males and has done excellent. Buddy seems to love everyone he meets.
Buddy also gets along well with other dogs with proper introductions and has made canine friends while here at the shelter. We feel that Buddy can integrate into a variety of households. However, when it comes to cats, it is situational and very much depends on the cat. Please reach out with any questions.

Buddy loves to run and play outside, and walks great on his harness and leash! Walks are an absolute favorite for Buddy, as are treat seeking puzzles and snuggling on the couch.
