Meet Buddy
Buddy is a four year old, 70lbs pit mix. We just passed his two year
anniversary with us. He was originally found as a stray, and his finder said
he would have loved to have kept Buddy ... but he and the existing dog
didn't get along. So, he brought Buddy into the shelter. When we had
posted Buddy on social media, Buddy's original owner came forward. They
shared a video of Buddy playing with a young child- blowing bubbles and
popping them ... but sadly his original owner never came for him.
Buddy IS an intensely powerful, and dominant dog. He has never shown any aggression towards people- however he can be disrespectful in the sense of invading your space, jumping on you,refusing verbal correction. But if you give him an inch, he'll take a mile.
So, his new owner needs to be confident and able to enforce boundaries.
