Meet Bruno! Bruno is an 8 yr old who enjoys playing with rope toys and going for walks. He walks fairly well on a leash/harness, but he does love following a new scent. He is house trained and may even be crate trained. Bruno would be a loyal companion for a single person/couple or active retirees. He could also join a family with older children, especially if they are seeking a canine BFF and confidant. Because he is such a "prosperous" fella, he may pose a fall risk to very small kiddos. He came into the shelter with a small breed dog, but Bruno would prefer to be the only dog in the home...he wants ALL of the love! No kitties either!

Bruno does love being outdoors and enjoying the sunshine; however, he is just as comfortable sharing the sofa and watching TV. As he is a mature gentleman, his indoor manners are excellent. Truly, his favorite spot is wherever his people are hanging out.

The dog you are considering is located in South Mississippi. We conduct virtual meet and greets for out-of-town applicants and can provide for transport (fee added to cost of adoption) to many northeastern states. At this time we are not able to transport into Massachusetts, New Hampshire, Maine or Rhode Island.
