Brownie is a 2 year old, 48 pound, German Shorthaired Pointer mix. Brownie is the kind of dog that loves to be with his people and have fun! He makes a great companion for a family with an active lifestyle and is always ready to bring his cuteness along whatever you may be doing. His handsome features attract lots of attention when out and about. Brownie walks great on a leash with no pulling and is calm and collected in the car. Brownie is easy to fall in love with and exudes great energy wherever he goes. He gets along well with dogs, cats, and especially people. Brownie would enjoy having a doggie brother or sister who loves to play as much as he does.  Brownie is a gentleman at home as he is potty trained and non-destructive (unless you count chew toys). He is not a big fan of the crate, but has been working on that with his foster. We believe that he will adjust to the crate with patience and consistency since he doesn't try to break out and will get in with motivation/aka treats. One of Brownie's most awesome attributes is that he knows his name, comes when called and just generally wants to be near. He is not a flight risk! Brownie has a playful puppy-like energy that would be best suited for older children. Overall, Brownie is just a really good boy who needs a family willing to return the love he will give.
