Bronco Catahoula Leopard Dog Mix Elyria, OH

**11/6/23 Bronco was a nursing home ambassador again today and was just fantastic!! He loves everyone he met, and… even crawled in bed to lay by the side of one of the residents!!**

Bronco spent time in a foster home and is back at the shelter waiting for his forever home! Listen to the first hand experience his foster had:

Meet Bronco, a handsome 5-year-young Catahoula Leopard Dog mix FAPL alum who was surrendered back to us due to no fault of his own, after four years of living in a loving home. Bronco walks well on a leash, is eager to play with new people and he is an outgoing boy. Bronco is picky about his canine friends and doesn’t get along with cats so he would likely do best being the king of his castle. Bronco might be a beefcake, but he truly has a laid back demeanor and a gentle soul about him. Bronco doesn’t know his own size and has no problem making your lap his new seat but, just wants to be your loyal companion, so head on in today to meet!!

Bronco was recently an ambassador to a local nursing home and was fantastic with everyone he met! He was a natural! Ohhh and so terrific riding in the car, too. He has been on outings away from the shelter and was such a good dog!!

No appointment is necessary to adopt. Our business hours are 11am - 4:30pm, Tuesday through Sunday. Adoptions are on a first-come, first-served basis. Applications will not be accepted in advance.

If you have dogs and/or kids in your family and are interested in adopting a Friendship dog please bring them with you for a meet and greet.

All dogs receive one or more vaccinations, a basic veterinary examination, are dewormed, microchipped, and spayed or neutered. Dogs 7 months and older are heartworm tested.
