Meet Brody
******Please note, once completing the initial screen you will be connected with the placement for a video chat. Transports run every few weeks and we will have the dog on the next available transport once approved. Brody, 3 years old, neutered male, Cattle dog/Pitbull mix, 62 pounds. He is in a foster home in Houston, TEXAS and can transport to an approved adopter.
Brody is an energetic dog looking for a moderately active family! He plays best with female dogs who are on the submissive side. He tends to run/play and due to his size, this can could be too much for a smaller dog. He is very friendly!
We have no history with cats or kids. We recommend a home with kids 12 years and older.
His foster mom has worked with him on leash and he does very well. He walks close to you, with a loose leash. He is housebroken and does great in his crate. Since he shares a home with other dogs, they are all crated when unsupervised.
Brody is very sweet and loveable. He loves to cuddle on the couch. He makes really funny expressions and at times sticks his tongue out. He is very smart and is easily entertained with toys and the TV! He is eager to please and will do best in a home who is able to provide him rules and boundaries. He would love go on walks, trails or even hikes. He rides great in the car. He is sometimes clumsy at times, which is also makes him a little silly. He has this weird habit of biting off the faces of his stuffed animals (we have pictures we can provide haha).
Brody is not appropriate for apartment living. He would do fine as an only dog or would prefer a female dog in the home.
