Hello everyone! My name is Brodie, and it's a pleasure to meet you.

As you may be able to tell from my photos, I'm a big strong guy. But I wasn't always this way. I came to MVPC very thin, missing some fur, and covered in cuts and scrapes. I also had an abcess from a bug bite, and my face and neck were swollen to twice their normal size. Imagine that! Fortunately, my new friends here got me to a nice doctor who fixed me right up. And they also gave me plenty of good meals to get me back to my hunky 85 LB. self.

I'm an active guy who loves to hang out with my peoples. I'm also a very willing snuggler. I have been working hard to learn all my commands, and to walk nicely on a leash. My foster folks say I can be a tad stubborn, but I will be fine with continued support. I love playing with other dogs, but can be a bit rough and tumble. I also wouldn't mind being your one true love. Kiddos are awesome, but I need them to be sturdy like me. No cats please!

ADOPTION FEE: $250 (All MVPC dogs are heartworm-tested and on prevention, completely vetted, spayed/neutered, microchipped, crate-trained and house-trained)

I AM READY TO GO HOME!! If you are approved to be my new family, a hold fee of $100 is required and will be applied to the full adoption fee of $250 when MVPC comes to visit your house with me!

PLEASE NOTE: We are volunteer based and a home visit is required; we have a two-hour adoption radius from Kettering, OH for our adult dogs and 75 miles for our puppies. Exceptions for our ADULT dogs only, though rare, may be made on a case-by-case basis but we must be able to do a home visit. Thank you for your understanding!
