Hi, my name is Briggs! I'm a GREEN pawprint, which means I will fit well into most homes. Here is what would work best for me in my new home:

-Personality: Friendly, smart, loyal

-Can Live with Kids: Unknown history. Based on our observations at the shelter, he seems like he could live with respectful, dog-savvy kids of most ages. Everyone will have to meet at the shelter first to ensure they get along.

-Can Live with Cats: Unknown history, will need slow, supervised intro.

-Can Live with Dogs: We are still evaluating Briggs to see how he does with other dogs here at the shelter. Ask staff if you'd like to know more!

-Can do Apartment Living: This big, active guy would much prefer a home with a yard! Apartments considered on case by case basis.

-Potty Trained: Appears to be!

-Bite History: No

-Positive Reward Based Obedience Classes Required: No

-Energy Level: Medium/high

-Needs Medical Procedure Before Going Home: Neuter/microchip

-Additional Information: Briggs is a classic German Shepherd who's friendly, smart, loyal, and eager to please. He came to us as a stray so his history is unknown, but he has not shown any behavioral concerns during his time at the shelter and would likely do well in most home environments. Briggs walks well on leash and already knows sit, shake, and down. He takes treats gently and loves leaning into your legs for pets.
